Located within Belmont Market is a new park memorializing Victor Chen, a well-known Langford engineer. The Victor Chen Memorial Park commemorates Victor and his career, as he played a key role in the completion of several development projects across the West Shore.

Crombie is proud to dedicate this park to the memory of Victor, in recognition of his distinguished career of strong community development. Crombie hopes to build upon his legacy as we develop future projects across Canada. “Victor Chen was an integral part of building the Langford community and a major contributor to the success of Belmont Market,” said Kevin Pritchard, Director of Development in Western Canada. “Naming the plaza in his name is our small way of honouring the man who was such a well-regarded member of the community, and driving force behind what we all get to enjoy in the City of Langford.” A special thanks goes out to all involved in the creation of this park.
