Throughout the year and across the country, Crombie employees selflessly volunteer their time and give back to their communities. Over the past weekend, a number of our employees volunteered at Pictou County Ribfest, which is held in support of local charities. This year’s charities were Habitat for Humanity Pictou County and Viola’s Place. Pictured below (L-R) is Matt March (committee), Cam Demont (committee), Jacob Roper (volunteer and finance support), Lori-Anna Jenkins (committee chair), Ruth Martin (committee), Elizabeth Engram (volunteer), and Kaitlyn Siddall (committee). Not pictured are Tracy Naugler (volunteer), Rhonda Kennedy (volunteer), and Dave Heatherington, Tara Russell, and Adam Dunphy who all provided financial support to the committee.

We want to extend a special acknowledgement to Lori-Anna Jenkins, Development Coordinator with Crombie, as she had the vision and courage to launch this event in Pictou County, and has led the Ribfest committee since 2019. Crombie is grateful for Lori-Anna’s contributions to bringing our local community together, and we look forward to celebrating the success of future Pictou County Ribfest events!
